Pearl River Palace
I don't usually do food reviews, but i must strongly recommended this restaurant. I have been eating in this restaurant for couple of times, and really like the food over there. It is awarded the Best Restaurant 2008 & 2009 in Singapore. The price is reasonable and you could eat all you can from over 50s dishes and you can even repeat the dishes as you wish. The menu included dim sum items, congee, appetizers, meat, seafood, soup, vegetables, tofu, rice & noodles. Desserts and fruits were laid out as a buffet spread where the customers can help themselves and that included about 10 items. Service was excellent for the price we paid. The staff members were courteous. The plates were constantly changed. Tea was constantly refilled without being asked. The food items appeared at the correct speed except when it was almost 1 pm when the place became busier. The dessert items were promptly replenished whenever necessary.Enclosed are some(not all) photo shoots that we ate. Since its a buffer meal, we will select those dishes that were worth the price. haha...One of it is Shark fin. Fin is big, thick and superb! I think i am eating over 9 dishes courses where we would normally eat in a Chinese wedding lunch/dinner.
I went with In-laws family and the cute little baby of course. As usual the baby will always capture some attention, this time his eyes seduced some waitress and they like him so much, carry him around as if they are not working.
