I use to sew during school days. Its was one of the subject that we need to do for the project. But i had stopped for many years since after i come to work. I love branded bags but with little income to spare i can only look at affordable range . Even though due to recent soaring materials prices, these bags did not surprise me with their price today. Mainly because they still maintained the best quality standard they have marked for themselves in the market for several years.
Needless to say, the affordable range of bags that i have mentioned earlier does not given you the quality you expect. But of course, you pay for the price you buy and that is what you would get.
Therefore, i decide to make my own designed bags and hope to share with everyone. Just wanna make a good quality and affordable bag for myself out of my hobby. I do not know how these negative thinking come along, but i just sick of corporate working life. What motivated me is the beauty of the handmade crafts coming from the inspiration of those designers and artists out there. Their creations and workmanship really rocks , and that brings me back to sewing now. What surprises me is i would shop for fabrics now rather than fanciful clothes that i used to buy online or a window shop with M. I feel a sense of achievement especially when my 1st project is done above. Ain't the pommes delicious ?

This is my very first handmade virgin Quilt bag, but unfortunately i did not like it. Partly because i am impatient as I took 8hrs to finish this bag. Furthermore, the teacher is often distracted by the other students and left me little time to explore the bag myself. After been "retired" from sewing for decades, frankly i have lose touch of sewing today. I have a very high expectation from the teacher whom i pay for the courses and obviously expect a good guidance from her. Even though the result is good, but still i do not like it.
